Invitation for Bid Manatee Children's Services, Inc. 23156 Rehabilitation Project

Manatee County Government, a political subdivision of the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as "the County”), will receive proposals from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the State of Florida, for the rehabilitation of a residential facility located in Bradenton, FL. Please contact the staff below for the addresses. The rehabilitation work involves, but is not limited to, installation of new impact windows and doors, replacement of the HVAC system, outdoor fence, general bathroom and electric repairs, kitchen upgrades, and general interior and exterior wall repairs. The contractor selected for this project will be responsible for furnishing all necessary engineered drawings, permits, materials, equipment, and labor for a complete project, in accordance with the specifications of this Invitation for Bid.

This project is funded by a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), as administered through Manatee County. There are federal regulations that apply throughout the duration of the project’s life cycle, including Davis-Bacon wage rates and Section 3 reporting.

MANDATORY INFORMATION CONFERENCE

A mandatory Information Conference is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at the project site. Please contact the staff below for the addresses. Proposals will not be considered from those proposers who do not attend the Information Conference.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, by mail or hand delivery at the offices of Manatee County Government, Community and Veterans Services Department, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Suite 510B, Bradenton, FL 34205. All interested proposers or their representatives are invited to attend this opening.
