Manatee County has been alerted to fraudulent emails targeting Development Services customers. These messages appear to come from Manatee County Planning Commissioners or Development Services staff and falsely instruct applicants to wire money for an “application approval fee” or other charges.

Please note:

• Manatee County staff will never request payment by email or wire transfer.

• All official application and permit fees are paid directly through the Manatee County Accela Online Services Portal at: https://aca-prod.accela.com/MANATEE/Default.aspx

• If you receive any suspicious messages requesting payment, do not respond or send funds.

• Official emails from Manatee County Government will always come from an @mymanatee.org email address. Official emails will not come from .gov, .usa, or .com email addresses.

• If you are uncertain about the validity of an email please contact our Development Services Department at (941) 749-3012.
