What is a Memory Cafe?
A memory cafe is a comfortable social gathering that welcomes people with memory loss, accompanied by their loved ones. The focus is to bring people together in a relaxed, stigma-fee environment, and fostering support through socializing, interaction, and activities.
Attendees can choose how they wish to participate and what they want to share with others.
Who can attend?
Both the person living with cognitive decline, Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias, along with their primary caregiver or loved one.
Memory Cafes are not designed to offer drop-off respite care.
Memory Cafes are held monthly at local library locations:
