NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 125.66, Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida (Board), will conduct a public hearing on the 18th day of November, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. or as soon thereafter as same may be heard in the Patricia M. Glass, Chambers on the First Floor of the Manatee County Government Administrative Center, located at 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, 34205, to consider, act upon, adopt, or reject the following ordinance:

ORDINANCE 25-60

AN ORDINANCE OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REGARDING ESTABLISHING A LOCAL CURFEW FOR JUVENILES; INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE SECTIONS 877.20-877.25, FLORIDA STATUTES; CREATING ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 2-21 OF THE MANATEE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of proposed ORDINANCE 25-60 may be inspected by the public during normal business hours in the Office of the County Attorney, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Suite 969, Bradenton, Florida.  Interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.

According to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter to be considered at the meeting or hearing, he/she will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record would include any testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

          NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 125.66(2)(a), Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing on November 18, 2025,  at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Commission Chambers, located on the first floor of the Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, to consider the following resolution:

RESOLUTION NO. R-25-211

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REGARDING BESTOWING AN HONORARY DESIGNATION FOR A COUNTY STREET; DESIGNATING THE FUTURE COUNTY ROAD PORTION OF 51ST STREET WEST FROM 53RD AVENUE WEST TO EL CONQUISTADOR PARKWAY AS “CHARLIE KIRK MEMORIAL BOULEVARD”; AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF APPROPRIATE SIGNAGE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

ORDINANCE NO. 25-50- Tourism Development Tax Plan Amendment

AN ORDINANCE OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REGARDING PUBLIC FINANCE AND THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT PLAN; PROVIDING PURPOSE AND INTENT; PROVIDING FINDINGS; AMENDING SECTION 2-29-27 OF THE MANATEE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO REVISE THE COUNTY’S TOURIST DEVELOPMENT PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
