NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County will conduct a Public Hearing on June 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as same may be heard at the Manatee County Government Administration Building, 1st Floor Patricia M. Glass Chambers, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, to consider and act upon the following matters:
PDMU-16-12(G)(R2) – Lorraine Corners NE Revised GDP – Lakewood Ranch Commerce Park LLC – PLN2407-0035- TO BE CONTINUED TO JUNE 19, 2025, AT 9:00 A.M., OR AS SOON THEREAFTER AS SAME MAY BE HEARD.
An Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, regarding land development, approving a revised General Development Plan to increase commercial and office entitlements from 50,000 to 100,000 square feet, addition of warehousing as a permitted use on approximately 67.94 acres, generally located north of SR 70 East, south of 59th Avenue East, east of Lorraine Road, and west of Post Boulevard and more commonly known as 15303 Garnet Trail, Bradenton, (Manatee County); approving a Schedule of Permitted and Prohibited Uses as voluntarily proffered by the Applicant attached as Exhibit “B”; subject to stipulations as conditions of approval; setting forth findings; providing a legal description; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 125.66 of Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing at the Manatee County Government Administration Building, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, 1st Floor, Patricia M. Glass Chambers, Bradenton Florida, during its regular meeting of June 5, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., or soon thereafter to consider, act upon, enact, or reject the following Ordinance.
The Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida proposes to adopt the following ordinance:
LDCT-25-01/ORDINANCE 25-15 COUNTY INITIATED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TEXT AMENDMENT IMPACT FEES (PLN2501-0124)
An Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, Regarding Land Development; Providing a statement of purpose and intent; providing findings, including a finding that Extraordinary Circumstances exist necessitating an increase in impact fee rates in excess of the phase-in limitations provided in Section 163.31801, Florida Statutes; amending the Manatee County Land Development Code (Ordinance No. 24-43, as amended, the “Code”); amending Chapter 2,.Definitions, amending and restating Chapter 11 relating to impact fees; providing for applicability; providing for codification; providing for severability; providing for statutory notice requirements, and providing an effective date.
Interested parties may appear and be heard at the meeting with respect to the proposed Ordinance. The public hearing may be continued from time to time to a date and time certain or to no date certain and re-advertised. The Public may also provide written comments for the Board of County Commissioners to consider.
Pursuant to Section 286.0105 of Florida Statutes, if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter to be considered at the meeting or hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record would include any testimony or evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
