LMS Meeting - 5 Year Update Planning

Good afternoon LMS Workgroup Members. The March LMS meeting will be discussing the 5-year update planning process.
I have attached copies of the current plan, the Document Review Tool, the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) Update Manual, the current bylaws, and a notes summary of the Update Manual.
I’ve also attached a copy of the agenda and the February Special Meeting minutes for review.
This meeting will mark the one-year process of seeking data and input from the workgroup members and the public to provide insight and expertise as needed and apply those changes to the update.
For this meeting and the process going forward this next year, we will be forming 3 sub-committees to focus on:
1. Goals and Objectives
2. Data and information updates
3. Governance Updates
The sub-committees should have 3-4 members, with each having a specialized area of expertise. The sub-groups may need to meet more frequently then the scheduled LMS meetings and will forward their findings to the LMS Chairperson for records keeping.
Please consider what area you may want to focus on, or would like to nominate someone in an area of expertise to represent one of the groups; as we will be mirroring the update process that last occurred in 2019/2020.
