Financial Assistance for Veterans and Dependents

You may receive a monthly compensation if you are determined to be at least 10 percent disabled as a result of your military service.

 

Also, you may receive a monthly pension if you are a wartime veteran with limited income and assets and are permanently and totally disabled, or at least 65 years old.

Financial Assistance for Activities of Daily Living

If you are in need of financial assistance with Activities of Daily Living, please have your physician complete the Aid and Attendance Letter.  Activities of Daily Living are "the things we normally do, or self-care tasks, such as feeding ourselves, bathing, dressing, grooming, work, homemaking, and leisure activities".

Financial Assistance with an Assisted Living Facility

If you are in need of financial assistance for residency in an Assisted Living Facility, please have the facility complete the Statement as to Level of Care and Cost of Care.
