Have you ever wondered where a tiger sleeps?  Or how tall the Empire State Building is?  Librarians can help you answer those questions.  You'll find librarians working at all six of the public libraries in Manatee County.  Some of them work in the children's department, where they help kids find exciting things to read and help them find research for their homework.

Librarians also present storytimes, puppet shows, and other fun programs.  They'll come visit your school or day care and talk to you about the library.  Librarians can also help you use computers, understand the internet, or find movies, music, and audiobooks.

So, don't forget, if you can't find something you need, always ask a librarian!  You can call us at 941-748-5555 or email us at reference@mymanatee.org.

We're happy to help you!
