MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Sept. 13, 2017) — Manatee County Government offices re-opened today. The Property Appraiser’s Office will remain closed until power is restored to its building in downtown Bradenton.

Fort Hamer Bridge, which opened temporarily to assist with storm-related traffic, will close Monday at 8 p.m. to allow crews to complete the project. An official opening date for the bridge will be announced at a later time.

The Citizens Information Center (CIC) will remain open through Friday, operating from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Officials will decide at that time whether to extend operations through next week.

Residents with questions, concerns or damage to report related to the storm should contact the CIC at (941) 749-3547. Residents without power should contact their power company about outages.

Homeowners with damage should contact their homeowner’s insurance company as soon as possible. Those with damage can also register for assistance through FEMA at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362.
