Operation Warrior Resolution’s Vigil of Honor
A candlelit vigil to honor the recently fallen Afghanistan service members and the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. A limited number of candles will be available to share. Sarasota National Cemetery’s 20-Year Commemoration
Stand for our 9/11 Fallen Heroes at Sarasota National Cemetery’s 20-Year Commemoration as the names of the 3,042 who perished are read during the Tolling of the Bell, 6 to 7:30 PM. More Details & Free Ticket Registration

Planned event participants include Congressman Greg Steube, Bishop Frank J. Dewane of the Venice Diocese, Bishop Dabney Tylor Smith, Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida, NAACP President Trevor Harvey, Sheriff Kurt Hoffman, local Police and Fire Chiefs, Mayors, Commissioners, Clergy, a 70+ Community Chorus, Military Officers and Veterans. Special commemorative coins have been minted to mark the occasion, and will be presented to Sarasota’s First Responders, Veterans, active duty Military, Sarasota Elk Lodges and 9 / 11 Survivors in attendance.
