Image Juvenile Justice Mentoring Initiative Program

Program provides screened and trained volunteers to mentor youth who are considered at-risk for or are involved in the Juvenile Justice System. The volunteer and youth meet every week at an authorized site or in the general community. Mentors will help youth to manage issues related to juvenile justice involvement, and make improvements in the following areas: academics, attendance, behavior, self-esteem, relationships, and general well-being.

Eligibility   Must be a Manatee County resident ages 6-17 years who is at risk for or are involved in the Juvenile Justice System.
