Apply for an Advisory Board

Advisory boards give Manatee County residents an opportunity to participate in their County government by providing input, expertise, experience and guidance in the decision making process of the County. We recognize the unique contributions made by volunteers and encourage your involvement through service as an advisory board member.

All advisory board meetings are open to the public and meeting dates are posted on the Manatee County Government Calendar. You are encouraged to attend a meeting to learn more about the work of the board in which you are interested.   For more information see the list of advisory boards on the left and contact the liaison to each board, or call the County Commission Office at 941-745-3700.
