Description: DMS is a point feature class that represents the point at which a DMS (Dynamic Message Sign) is located. The signs are typically used to display information about traffic conditions, travel times, construction, and road incidents.

Description: CCTV is a point feature class that represents the point at which a CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) is located. CCTV systems have extensive traffic-monitoring capability, using closed-circuit television to detect congestion and notice accidents. These cameras are primarily used to monitor traffic conditions and are not used as speed cameras. This data is derived mainly from GPS data, and field verifications.

Description: ATMS (Advanced Traffic Control System) Conduit is a linear feature class that represents the ATMS fiber optic conduit in the County. Conduit is not fiber optic cable. It is the sheathing or piping which fiber optic cable lies in. The conduit represented here normally is a 1 1/4 inch single tube. The conduit normally contains at least one fiber optic cable which was installed for the purpose of dedicated ATMS system communication. This is not DATA conduit which resides in our Data Communication Network.
