Enabling/Regulating Authority

Florida Statutes Chapter 704.06 and Manatee County Land Development Code Section 719.

Background Discussion

A plan was implemented during September 2006 to remove exotic nuisance vegetation species and replace with desirable native vegetation approved by Manatee County at the Palma Sola Bay Club site. Due to past economic conditions the majority of the work on the project site halted. As conditions improved the property was sold to new owners and the project was reactivated. The Conservation Easement outlines certain activities and allowable acts approved by Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) and Manatee County.
