Chapters 125 and 127, Florida Statutes, Comprehensive Plan Goal 5.1 addresses the safety and efficiency of forecasted vehicular demands.
FDOT is currently acquiring a right-of-way and seeks to acquire Parcel 105.4 in fee for a Lighting and Sidewalk Improvement Project along US 41 (14th Street). However, prior to doing so, FDOT has requested a quitclaim deed from Manatee County for a pre-existing Pedestrian Sidewalk Easement in favor of Manatee County which encumbers Parcel 105.4.
A departmental review was completed as requested in RLS 14-114 and no departments had any interest or objection in the project.
