Approval of the street numbering waiver request by ZNS Engineering, allowing named streets to be utilized in the Villa Amalfi Subdivision, contingent upon the approval of Ordinance PDR 14-28 (Z)(P)
Section 742.8 of the Manatee County Land Development Code
ZNS Engineering, on behalf of their client Neal Communities, is requesting a waiver of the street numbering for Villa Amalfi Subdivision, previously known as McClure-Honore/Lockwood Ridge.
The project is located on the south side of 63rd Ave E and the west side of Lockwood Ridge Rd (45th St E). The site is comprised of 18.21+/- acres and is being developed as a 92 Lot Single Family Residential Subdivision.
Section 742.8 of the Manatee County Land Development Code allows for a waiver of the street numbering requirement. This section also requires the Manatee County Public Safety Department, Traffic Management Division of Public Works and the fire district to review the waiver request.
Those reviewing agencies have responded with no objection to the waiver and have indicated that provided the street names chosen are not duplicates either actually or phonetically, and are easy to pronounce and recognize, emergency response will not be compromised by the granting of the waiver.
Vickie Warner, Address Coordinator, will review the proposed street names to ensure compliance.
