Action Requested

RECOMMENDED MOTION:

Based upon the staff report, evidence presented, comments made at the Public hearing, the action of the Planning Commission, and finding the request to be CONSISTENT with the Manatee County Comprehensive Plan and the Manatee County Land Development Code, I move to ADOPT Manatee County Zoning Ordinance No. Z-17-05, as recommended by the Planning Commission.

Background Discussion

• Request for a rezoning of 0.3759± acres located approximately .05 miles west of US 41, commonly known as 1215 69th Avenue West, Bradenton, 34207

• The property is currently zoned GC (General Commercial).

• The applicants are requesting a rezone to RMF-9 (Residential Multi-family, 9 Units/Acre) zoning district.

• Staff recommends approval.

• On February 14, 2019, by a vote of 6 – 0, the Planning Commission recommended approval. Mr. Rutledge was absent.
