Action Requested

Authorize the County Administrator or his designee to execute Change Order #1 to T1100059 with Holland Construction Corporation increasing the Agreement amount by $76,663.31 from $2,091,073.59 to $2,167,736.90 with no additional days added to the contract completion schedule.

Background Discussion

Change Order #1 provides for the final reconciliation of the Agreement and includes design modifications and changes directed by the Architect,  additional work requested by the County, and / or unforeseen conditions which were not a part of the original scope of work. 

Administrative Contract Adjustment (ACA#1) provided for an increase of $6,775.75, and added thirty (30) additional days to the contract time as a result of changes to the Pre-Engineered Metal Building and associated parts.

Administrative Contract Adjustment (ACA#2) incorporated unforeseen underground and electrical work in addition to the removal of cabinets from the original scope of work.  The results of these changes decreased the contract amount by $2,834.16.

May 24, 2011, the BCC executed an Agreement with Holland Construction Corporation, Sarasota, FL in the amount of $2,087.132.00.
