Adoption of Resolution R-13-094 declaring certain county real property as surplus and authorizing the sale of such property.
Section 125.35, Florida Statutes, County Government
This property, the former Bradenton Office Supply building, located at 530 13th Street West in downtown Bradenton, is currently vacant and has no intended county use. The county continues to have to pay ongoing costs for upkeep and security of the building.
Manatee County acquired the property by Special Warranty Deed dated December 20, 2000, recorded in Official Record Book 2434, Page 2817, and located at 530 13th Street West. The property was purchased by the County in December of 2000 for $535,000 and is assessed this year by the Property Appraiser's Office for $236,209.
The property has been circulated and reviewed by appropriate County Departments; and none have any need for the property.
