Adoption of Resolution R-14-061 declaring certain real property as surplus and authorizing the sale of such property.
Section 125.35, Florida Statutes, County Government
On October 21, 2002, Manatee County acquired the property with transportation funding via a Warranty Deed, recorded in O.R. Book 1782, Page 6222, Public Records of Manatee County Florida, from Electronic Protection Systems, Inc., a corporation existing under the laws of Florida.
The property was required for the road improvement of 30th Avenue West from 26th Street West to 5th Street West, Bradenton, Florida. The road improvements for 30th Avenue West realigned the intersections of 14th Street West and 9th Street West, which were approved in the 1991-1995 CIP budget. Internal jurisdictional review of county departments provided no objections to classify the property as surplus.
