Action Requested

Adopt Resolution R-13-112 and Budget Amendment B-13-061.

Enabling/Regulating Authority

Background Discussion
  • This is a dollar for dollar federal match grant. We will use the State’s Emergency Management Preparedness and Assistance Grant for $105,806 to match it and $931 from General Funds will provide the rest of the match.  Both grants follow the Federal calendar year of July 1 through June 30.
  • EMPG will fund half of the cost for two full time Emergency Management Officers salaries and benefits. It will also be used to complete the required scope of work items.
  • The grant agreement was executed under authority of Resolution R-09-161 on June 24, 2013.
