Chapters 125 and 127, Florida Statutes. Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 5.1 addresses the safety and efficiency of forecasted vehicular demands.

Background Discussion
  • On June 20, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners executed a Purchase Sale Agreement with CSX Transportation, Inc., in the amount of $18,000.00.
  • On November 7, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners executed a First Amendment to Purchase Sale Agreement with CSX Transportation, Inc. This First Amendment increased the amount of land from 0.04 acres to 0.07 acres at no additional cost to Manatee County.
  • This parcel is unimproved and the acquisition is required for the Ellenton Gillette Road Intersection Improvement Project (U.S. 301 to Ellenton Gillette Road).
