  • Execution of Right of Entry Agreement with Universal, LLC, as Exhibit "1" of Resolution R-16-026.

Background Discussion
  • On March 4, 2015, the contractor for Manatee County learned that certain improvements in the northeast corner of the intersection of Cortez Road (State Road 684) and 86th Street West had been constructed outside of the Right-of-Way by the contractor.
  • The Florida Department of Transportation directed the contractor's acquisition agent to use the Florida Department of Transportation standard Right of Entry Agreements to remedy and solve this problem.  These agreements have been revised by the County Attorney's Office and are acceptable. 
  • The executed Right of Entry Agreements will allow the contractor access to private property for the purpose of relocation of certain improvements and to reinstall improvements onto existing Right-of-Way without compensation.
