  • Execution of County Deed to Sharo Lisbeth Hernandez Ramos.

Background Discussion
  • On August 6, 2001, Manatee County acquired the subject property from William W. Parker Sr. and Kathleen D. Parker in fee simple via a Warranty Deed recorded on August 29, 2001, in Official Records Book 1698, Page 7419.
  • The property was required for the realignment and widening of 30th Avenue West from 7th Street West to 14th Street West.
  • The transportation funding source for the acquisition was Gas Tax Fund account 307-6000660. 
  • The property boundary was realigned by the survey division to coincide with the planned right-of-way width in the comprehensive plan.
  • On June 16, 2015, the Board adopted Resolution R-15-050 declaring the remaining property as surplus and authorizing the sale of such property.
  • It was offered for sale in accordance with Florida Statute 125.35, Subsection (2).
  • The 2014 property tax assessed value was $9,700.00.
  • A notice of sale dated June 22, 2015, was delivered to adjacent property owners via certified mail.
  • An offer to purchase was delivered for consideration on November 11, 2015. The offer was reviewed and determined to be acceptable for presentation to the Board for consideration.
