Authorization for the County Administrator or his designee to execute Change Order 1 to Agreement 15-2195DC, SWWRF Recharge and Monitoring Wells Construction, with Southeast Drilling Services, Inc., Tampa, Florida, increasing the contract sum by $11,081.00, from $2,174,705.00 to $2,185,786.00, and adding 36 calendar days to the construction schedule.
Manatee County Code of Laws
Change Order 1 provides for recharge well cement adjustments that will improve the well stability. The additional contract days include time for the additional well water quality samples and allows the contractor to complete the work added to the contract by the County. The revised completion date is March 18, 2017.
On September 22, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners executed a contract with Southeast Drilling Services, Inc., in the amount of $2,018,205.00 for the construction of a non-hazardous injection well system at the Southwest Water Reclamation Facility with partial funding through the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
