Manatee County Comprehensive Plan on Affordable Housing
Manatee County Land Development Code Housing Element
The Manatee County Comprehensive Plan identifies elements of the County's Affordable Housing Program and requires the execution of a Land Use and Deed Restriction agreement in exchange for affordable housing incentives.
Ellenton Landings, LLC., is seeking determination of an affordable housing project which includes a requirement that 25% of the units be held within the affordable housing and workforce rental or sales price allowed under the Manatee County Local Housing Assistance Plan for a five year period.
The project consist of 136 units, 25% of which will be held for affordable rents or sales, another 25% of which will be held for workforce rents or sales eligibility for a five (5) year period.
A Land Use and Deed Restriction Agreement (LURA) is needed at this time to set forth the terms and conditions of land use and staff recommends execution by the Board.
Any funding needed for recording and certification fees shall be provided by the Neighborhood Services Department.
