Hurricane Jeanne FEMA Repayment

Authorization to return to the State of Florida $110,450 for overpayment of Hurricane Jeanne FEMA reimbursement and adoption of Budget Resolution B-16-081 Amending the Annual Budget for Manatee County, FL for Fiscal Year 2015-2016.
The President of the United States declared Manatee County eligible for emergency public assistance due to Hurricane Jeanne, which impacted Manatee County, beginning September 26, 2004.
The State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management, has performed a close-out of the Hurricane Jeanne project. This project worksheet relates to the beach erosion that occurred as a result of that storm. The cost adjustment is due to the costs being based on the estimates rather than actual costs. In reconciling these final actual costs there is a reimbursement due to the State in the amount of $110,450.00.
Authorization is being requested for the Clerk of Courts and Comptroller to process the required repayment and audit slip to the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management with an invoice due date of August 19, 2016.
