• Adoption of Resolution R-20-149 authorizing the acceptance of agreement EHCA-20/21-MAN from the Senior Connection Center, Inc., for the Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program CARES Act  in the amount of $51,518.61 for the time period June 1, 2020, to November 15, 2021.
• Adoption of Budget Resolution B-20-104 amending the annual budget for Manatee County, Florida for FY 20/21.

• The state has secured CARES Act funding to enhance the Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAP) throughout the state of Florida.
• Senior Connection Center, Inc. has approved an award for Manatee County based on an approved funding formula.
• The 2020/2021 Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program CARES Act  agreement will allow for approximately 100 authorized applications to be processed, assisting those households with keeping their electric on or having the electric turned back on after disconnection.
• EHEAP CARES Act is funded through the Senior Connection Center, Inc., and assists low income households with at least one person 60 years of age or older who are experiencing a home energy emergency.
• The program allows for assistance with electric bill payment  through an application process developed by the state.

Return two originals of agreement and signed copies of Resolutions R-20-149 and B-20-104 to the Neighborhood Services Department.  One original agreement will be returned to Board Records once executed by the funding source.
