Background Discussion
Kiante Jackson received an interest deferred payment loan through Manatee County SHIP (State Housing Initiative Partnership) funding in the amount of $30,000.00 for down payment to assist in the purchase of a home. Manatee County is the second lien holder on this property. Due to extensive water damage in the bathroom, Kiante Jackson has received an insurance check to pay for repairs to her bathroom. Manatee County's endorsement of the insurance check is required.
