Background Discussion
On several recent occasions, the Board of County Commissioners has discussed the possibility of revising its procedures for the naming of public facilities. The "current" Resolution that governs these procedures was adopted in 1993 (Resolution R-93-156) and is outdated and burdensome in several respects. Attached is proposed Resolution R-20-153, as crafted by the County Attorney. The County Attorney will explain the differences between the "old" and "new" procedures and will ask for the Board's adoption of Resolution R-20-153.
