Enabling/Regulating Authority
Ordinance No. 19-22 Rates, Fees and Charges for Potable Water, Reclaimed Water and Wastewater Facilities and Services of Manatee County Florida.
Background Discussion
Ordinance 19-22 allows owners to enter into an agreement for extended payment of Water and or Sewer Facility Investment Fees, Connection Fees, and Line Extension Fees, with interest, for up to 10 years. Extended payment terms make connection to the utility system more affordable to existing residents, allowing customers to pay the fees over an extended period of time.
Staff has received an agreement from the following owner requesting to enter into a time payment agreement: David Lee Beach, #1607. The agreement meets the conditions stated in the Time Fees Paid section of the Facility Investment Fee Administrative Procedures Manual Adopted by Resolution R-19-055, effective October 1,2019.
