Enabling/Regulating Authority Manatee County Code of Laws Background Discussion On November 3, 2017, the County entered into Agreement No. 16-2117GD - Master Products and Services Agreement with Intergraph Corporation DBA Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure for the provision of providing certain proprietary software, including related proprietary documentation, software maintenance services and professional services in support of computer aided dispatch (CAD) records management system, field-based reporting, and mobile for public safety.
Currently, the County is in the process of transferring Hexagon's CAD records management system, field-based reporting, and mobile for public safety from on-premise to a cloud-based system. Given the highly technical and complex nature of this transition, the County has determined a need to extend the existing Agreement No. 16-2117GD for one (1) additional year to ensure there is no loss of service. The County is also asking for approval to incorporate an aggregate Agreement total not-to-exceed amount of $1,500,000.00 to cover all support and maintenance of the existing on-premise system and any unforeseen or as-needed items that may be necessary during the transition period.
Amendment No. 1 incorporates an aggregate Agreement total not-to-exceed amount of $1,500,000.00 for all services, as well as the necessary maintenance and support covered under the entire life of the Agreement. The Amendment also extends the Agreement for one (1) additional year, beginning November 3, 2020 and ending November 2, 2021, to ensure there is contractual coverage during the transition period.
