Execution of First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Bradenton Beach Regarding the Operation of the Barge Loading Facility

Authorization for the Chairman to execute the First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement Regarding Operation of the Barge Loading Facility between Manatee County and the City of Bradenton Beach.
Florida Statute 125
The City again wishes to utilize the barge loading facility, according to the specified conditions, for: construction and environmental mitigation activities associated with the dredging of a channel (commonly described as the Bradenton Beach Access Channel); construction and environmental activities associated with the Bradenton Beach Living Shoreline Project; and construction and environmental activities associated with the Bradenton Beach City Historic Pier, Floating Dock, Finger Docks, and Dinghy Dock Project.
Execution of the amendment will extend the duration of the agreement to January 1, 2025, and allow sufficient time for the City to complete the projects.
