Background Discussion
  • On July 28, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners executed a contract from James E. Parks for the purpose of future improvements of Erie Road and the alignment and improvement of Erie Road/State Road 62 and U.S. 301.
  • The acquisition was the first acquisition of a two-phase process. 
  • The property is not the homestead of James E. Parks. A commercial building often referred to as the "Parrish Supermarket" is located on the parcel.
  • The first acquisition of the two-phase process has closed. This agenda item is to accept the warranty deed and temporary easement in Board Records only.
