Action Requested
Approval and authorization for the Chairman to execute the Community Development Block Grant Funding Approval/Agreement Number B-19-UC-12-0018 for $1,873,924.00, the HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Funding Approval/Agreement Number M19-UC-12-0219 for $623,566.00, and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Funding Approval/Agreement Number E-19-UC-12-0018 for $160,459.00.

Background Discussion
  • On July 23, 2019, the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-19-096, adopting the 2019/20 Annual Action Plan.
  • On November 4, 2019, Manatee County received notification from HUD that the Action Plan was reviewed and approved. 
  • Each funding approval/agreement must be signed and dated by Manatee County to accept grant funds from HUD.
  • Executed grant agreements must be returned to HUD before entering into funding agreements for the projects and services that were included in the approved 2019/20 Annual Action Plan.
