Action Requested
  • Execution of Contract for Sale and Purchase with Claudia Hartung, individually and as sole Trustee of the Ron Hartung and Claudia Hartung Revocable Living Trust, dated December 30, 1997, and last amended May 3, 2018, for the purpose of the Fort Hamer Road Extension, U.S. 301 North to Erie Road Alignment, in the amount of $135,000.00.

Background Discussion
  • The right-of-way is required for the future improvements and alignment at Fort Hamer Road from U.S. 301 North to Erie Road.
  • The Fort Hamer Road Extension, U.S. 301 North to Erie Road Alignment Project was approved FY 2018 (CIP Project #6054765).
  • The partial acquisition consists of 2.0 acres of land located at 11741 69th Street East, Parrish, Florida 34219, PID 469407001.
  • The Owner, Claudia Hartung, retained Attorney Paul Blucher with Paul Blucher Law Group, LLC, to negotiate on her behalf.
  • A settlement was reached in the amount of $135,000.00 for the partial acquisition and includes legal and expert costs.
  • The Settlement eliminates additional costs for litigation fees or expert fees associated with this agreement.
