Action Requested

Execute revised Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a mast arm traffic signal upgrade to SR 70 and Lakewood Ranch Boulevard.

Background Discussion
  • Original LAP Agreement was executed by the Board of County Commissioners on August 27, 2013.
  • FDOT amended construction phase costs based upon a revised cost estimate provided by the County's Engineer of Record.
  • Original LAP Agreement was not fully executed by FDOT, therefore a revised LAP is being presented.
  • The LAP Agreement is revised to increase funding for Phase 58 (Construction) by $56,289.  The revised total amount of the contract including Phase 58 (Construction) and Phase 68 (CEI) is $420,777.
