Authorization for waiver of tipping fees at the Lena Road Landfill for solid waste disposal for the City of Anna Maria, to be held on September 21, 2013.

Background Discussion
  • Solid Waste staff received a request for waiver for tipping fees related to solid waste disposal for the annual cleanup from the City of Anna Maria.  Contact person is George McKay, 941-708-6132.
  • The waiver is requested for tipping fees only.  The City of Anna Maria has made arrangements for hauling of waste for the event through Waste Management.
  • The estimated amount of solid waste is 30 tons.
  • Estimated 30 tons x $36/ton = $1,080.00
