  • Accept and Record Warranty Deed from Providence Presbyterian Church, OPC, Inc.; and
  • Record Partial Release from Orthodox Presbyterian Church Loan Fund, Inc.; and
  • Record Partial Release from Presbyterian Church in America Foundation, Inc.; and
  • Record Temporary Construction Easement from Providence Presbyterian Church, OPC, Inc.; and
  • Record Affidavit of Ownership and Encumbrances from Matthew W. Folkert, as Authorized Signatory of Providence Presbyterian Church, OPC, Inc.; and
  • Execute and Record Subordination of Utility Interests and Agreement for Reimbursement for Additional Facility Relocations from Florida Power and Light.

Enabling/Regulating Authority

Chapters 125 and 127, Florida Statutes.  Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 5.1 addresses the safety and efficiency of forecasting vehicular demands.

Background Discussion
  • As part of the 44th Avenue East Roadway Improvement Project, Hope Presbyterian Church will convey right-of-way to Manatee County via a warranty deed.
  • The paving, grading, and draining plan for Hope Presbyterian Church depicted the addition of a 10 foot turn lane as well as a 24 foot asphalt driveway to be constructed.
  • The Temporary Construction Easement (TCE) allows Manatee County to relocate the existing driveway entrance and construct a new driveway and turn lane on 30th Street East. The drainage relocation, grading, sloping, and roadway improvements will also be completed.
