Accept and Record Warranty Deed from the Whisenant Family Limited Partnership for property located at the intersection of Ellenton Gillette Road and US 301 for the purpose of roadway improvements; Record Affidavit of Ownership and Encumbrances from Robert Blake Whisenant, Director of Whisenant, Inc., General Partner of Whisenant Family Limited Partnership.
Chapters 125 and 127, Florida Statutes, Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 5.1 addresses the safety and efficiency of forecasting vehicular demands.
On February 25, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners executed the contract and on March 25, 2014 executed the first amendment to the contract in the amount of $202,822.00 for the purchase of 12,228 square feet of right-of-way needed for the widening of US 301 at Ellenton Gillette Road.
