Action Requested

Adoption of Resolution R-16-070 modifying the assessment roll for the Sunny Shores Street Light Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) by combining parcels owned by John M. Warner & Faye G. Warner.

Background Discussion
  • August 21, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) adopted Ordinance 01-39 which established the Sunny Shores Street Lighting Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU).  The assessment was $24.24 per unit.
  • August 25, 2009, the BCC adopted Resolution R-09-173 which amended the assessment roll for Sunny Shores by decreasing the assessment to $19.00 per unit.
  • John M. Warner and Faye G. Warner are included in the Sunny Shores Street Lighting MSBU and have recently combined their parcels into one parcel.
  • The attached Modification Resolution needs to be adopted by the BCC to combine the parcels and modify the assessment roll for Sunny Shores.
