Street Waiver for Trevesta

Motion to approve the street numbering waiver request by Morris Engineering allowing named streets to be utilized in the Trevesta Development.
Section 742 of the Manatee County Land Development Code
Morris Engineering, on behalf of their client Kolter Land Partners, is requesting a waiver of the street numbering requirement allowing named streets to be utilized in the Trevesta project. This project has received approval of the Rezone with Preliminary Site Plan.
The project is located on the south side of 69th St E and east of I-75 in Palmetto. The site is comprised of 442.3 +/- acres and is being developed as a single-family, multifamily, and retail project.
Section 742.8 of the Manatee County Land Development Code allows for a waiver of the street numbering requirement. This section also requires the Manatee County Public Safety Department, Traffic Management Division of Public Works, and the fire district to review the waiver request.
The reviewing agencies have responded with no objection to the waiver request and have indicated that, provided the street names chosen are not duplicates and are easy to pronounce and recognize, emergency response will not be compromised by the granting of the waiver.
