Action Requested
  • Accept, Execute, and Record Agreement in Conjunction with Surety Bond (Attachment "A") as Defect Security Warranting Required Improvements– Infrastructure with Pulte Home Corporation; and
  • Accept Surety Bond No. 1102069 in the Amount of $177,486.05.

Background Discussion

On August 25, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners accepted a Required Improvements Agreement securing infrastructure improvements for Harrison Ranch Phase IIB-5.  Since that time Manatee County accepted an FSP modification splitting Phase IIB-5 into two separate parcels, 5A and 5B.  This modification was approved on January 9, 2014.

The developer has provided all necessary documentation and completed and passed all inspections for those required public improvements  for IIB 5A.  Therefore, the performance agreement (public) will be reduced to secure the remaining required improvements for Harrison Ranch Phase IIB 5B; and a defect security agreement accepted for the public infrastructure improvements for Harrison Ranch Phase IIB 5A.
