Authorize signature of CRA Chairman approving Fiscal Year 2012-2013 annual statement.

Enabling/Regulating Authority

F.S. 257.36(5) Records Management for Community Redevelopment Areas.

Background Discussion
  • The signed statement is provided annually to the Florida Department of State Division of Library and Information Services "attesting to the agency's compliance with records disposition laws, rules, and procedures."
  • The annual statements from all agencies are then compiled into a report to the Legislature and the Executive Office of the Governor for their consideration and action.
  • Manatee County CRA remains in compliance and has not disposed of any records for the reporting year Fiscal 2012-2013.
  • The statement is required to be received in Tallahassee by December 31, 2013.
