Award Agreement 16-1310CD, Purchase of LED Sports Lighting System for Lakewood Ranch Park, to Musco Sports Lighting, LLC, for a total cost of $327,400.00.
Authorize the County Administrator, or designee, to execute the Agreement.
Manatee County Code of Laws
This negotiated Agreement involves the purchase of a complete LED sports lighting system, to be installed by others, for two (2) soccer fields at the Lakewood Ranch Park complex. The system shall include the Musco control link remote monitoring package and a twenty-five (25) year manufacturer’s warranty that includes labor and materials for maintenance of the system.
The Property Management Department is requesting a non-competitive purchase for the Musco brand LED sports lighting system based upon the following:
The final cost of this Agreement has been negotiated by staff resulting in a 7.3% reduction to the original proposed cost as well as the addition of 15 years to the proposed base warranty of 10 years resulting in a total 25 year warranty.
