Manatee County Government offices closed Nov. 26 - 27 for Thanksgiving

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Nov. 18, 2020) – Manatee County Government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday next week for Thanksgiving.

Garbage and recycling for Thursday will be on Friday and Friday’s collections will be on Saturday. The regular schedule resumes Monday, Nov. 30.

MCAT fixed route, Handy Bus, and Longboat Key Shuttle services will not be available on Thanksgiving Day but resume on Friday.

Manatee County public libraries will be closed for Thanksgiving from Thursday through Sunday, resuming a normal weekly schedule on Monday. Branches will be closing early on Wed., Nov. 25, call your local branch for details.

On the days government offices are closed public parks, preserves and beaches remain open to the public. Manatee County and Buffalo Creek golf courses will close at noon on Thanksgiving Day.

G.T. Bray Recreation Center is closed Thursday and Friday.
