County offices closed Jan. 20 to observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Jan. 13, 2020) – Manatee County Government offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Trash and recycling pickup schedules will continue as normal next week. Manatee County Area Transit and the Anna Maria Island Trolley will operate normal daily routes.

Downtown Central Library, the only County library open on Mondays, will be closed for the holiday and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 21. Manatee Libraries' Little Discovery Center, 321 15th St. W., Bradenton, will also be closed on Monday and will reopen Tuesday.

Manatee County’s publicly owned natural preserves, parks and beaches will be open to the public. Manatee County and Buffalo Creek Golf Courses will be open.

G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 20.
