Manatee County Animal Services adoption fees waived Oct. 25-Oct. 29

Palmetto, October 25 – Due to a recent confiscation case which has resulted in the shelter reaching critical capacity, Manatee County Animal Services (MCAS) is waiving all adoption fees Tuesday, Oct. 25 through Saturday, Oct. 29. “Adopt-O-Ween: Howls and Meows” is still scheduled for October 28-29.

 WHAT: All dogs and cat adoption fees will be waived (regular adoption fee is $80 for dogs and $40 for cats.) All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and rabies certificate. Manatee County residents are required to license their new pet for an additional $15. Adoptable pets can be viewed at mymanatee.org/pets

 

WHERE: Manatee County Animal Services, 305 25th Street West, Palmetto FL 34221. Downtown Adoption Center (cats only) located at 1002 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton 34205. Animal Services can be reached at 941-742-5933.

 

WHEN: Tuesday, October 25 through Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Palmetto. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bradenton.
