Abstract: Sanitary sewer control valve is a point feature class that represents the sewer control valves in the County, both publicly and privately maintained. Control valves are those valves that do not prevent flow like system valves. Rather they regulate the flow within the pipes such as; Air Releases, Backflow Preventers, and Blow Offs. This dataset is derived from a variety of sources some of which are: asbuilts/record drawings, GPS data, soft digs, field verifications, and half section records.
Purpose: To provide the backbone for the County to conduct analysis, planning, safeguarding, and assist/work order management regarding the particular facility.
