Abstract: Reclaimed water control valve is a point feature class that represents the reclaimed water and irrigation control valves in the County, both publicly and privately maintained. Control valves are those valves that do not prevent flow like system valves do. Rather they regulate the flow within the pipes like; Air Releases, Backflow Preventers, and Blow Offs. This dataset is derived from a variety of sources, some of which are: asbuilts/record drawings, GPS data, soft digs, field verifications, and half section records.
Purpose: To provide the backbone for the County to conduct analysis, planning, safeguarding, and assist/work order management regarding the particular facility.
